So a few thing have happened since I last blogged. First Darron found out that he is getting his $$ from all of the 2008 deployments!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! That includes Hurricane Faye, Dolly, and Ike and a Few other small things here and there. We are soooo excited about it! We are just planning on putting it in the bank but it makes us feel better to have a bigger safety net now.

I went to get my 6 month inspection done on my wedding band that i have to do for my extended warentee and little did i know that i had knocked the snot out of my ring some time!!! My wedding band was cracked right at the edge of one of the diamonds. The prong around my solitair was dented and the who head of it is pushed to one side! I had to have hit it REALLY hard because the head is made of platnium . Soo I didnt want to look single for a week while it got fixed so for now i just sent off my wedding band because the diamond was loose in that one. So for now I am just wearing my wedding ring again. Once it gets back I am going to send off my engagement ring to get the head fixed.

So Darron came home on Friday after a late flight due to the storms. Ironically Kenna and Darron were actually both suck in Dallas at the same time! I am so happy to have him back home! I can finally get a good nights sleep. We had a few friends over last night to watch UFC. Yesterday I started to do some yard work but it didn't end well. It was about 83 degrees and really humid and after about an hours of yard work I got a little overheated! Sooo the yard work is going to have to wait until it is cooler! or I will have to do in really early or later tonight...we will see...

We also joined Costco today!!! We were able to buy a 55lbs of dog food for less then the 40lbs is at the grocery store!!!

So we just got a call from Darrons work (STRAC, http://www.strac.org/) that they have to go help out with the North Texas grass fires that have been burning for a few days now. It has officially been declared a natural disaster. For more info you can clink on the link below:

I always get mixed emotions when this happens. I he loves his work but I also know the conditions that he has to work in sometimes. We both like that he gets paided Deployment pay ( yeah) but at the same time I dont get to be with him and he is not going to get a weekend. The worst part is that Darron is going to be gone next week too. he leave monday for San Diego for an EOC confrence and training until atleast friday. So basicly I am not going to spend time with Darron until next saturday....and we didnt get to go to the park and play catch either :(

Maybe I will get started on a few of my projects early now.

So yesterday was VERY eventful! As some of you know I have been pretty much constantly sick for a few weeks now so I want to the doctor again and they changed up my meds and gave me a few other things to do so we will see how that works.

Also yesterday a friend of mine had her baby!!! yeah!! After about 12 hours and she was still only at 4cm they decided to do a C section...the whole day was a little frustrating because she was actually due on the 5th! Well turns out she kinda over cooked him! He was 9lbs!!! and 21 inches!!!

I have to admit leaving the hospital last night I have a bad case of baby fever right now but I think everyone kinda gets it at my age. I cant believe that i am about to be 24 and darron is goin to be 29....time just seems to fly these days. We are just enjoying being married right now. Congrats to cousins Dave and Angie expecting there first in Oct!!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited for them!

It is really nice today so Darron and I ar going to go play catch at the park this evening! They did really well at there softball game on wed. They didnt win...which they have only won one in the last 3 years....but they still have a great time but they were ahead for awhile but just lost it at the end. :(

We like the exercise and sunshine of going to the park for a little softball practice just the two of us!

Day one

So I have decided to start a blog to keep our family and friends up to date on our lives. Have been sick now for almost a week and hopefully the new meds will work! This week Darron has a little accident on the baseball field. He got hit in the head with the softball! It was bad...I cried. Davis also lost his tooth and not in a good way. He knocked heads with a friend of his on the trampoline and knocked out his front tooth. We are waiting for xrays to see what the doctors say.

My current projects:

Painting and decorating the Game Room upstairs

Moving Darrons office to the back bedroom ( we will see if he wants it painted or not)

Paint out bedroom

I am also trying to slim down a little again. I have to be in two wedding this next year and summer is comming up. I am back on my thyroid medicine....blah...but hopefully it will help my weight level out. My first step in that direction is diet which is my biggest struggle by far. I will keep you updated on how that goes.
Tonight is the Season Premier of Rescue Me on FX...by far Darrons favorite show so we are going to have a few people pver tonight for Spaghetti, which is tradition, and watching the show.

Always,

Darron and Allie
