Secret

So i havent posted in FOREVER but it was mainly due to the face that Darron and I have been keeping a little secret! But since only family ready my blog and you guys know now i can post this.....WE ARE EXPECTING!!!! We are both so excited! Everyone seems happy for us which is great to have such a good support network. We are def open to any help, suggestions, and hand-me-downs! As of today I am 8 weeks 2 days! I have been lucky to have no real morning sickness until yesterday! I am not even sure it is morning sickness or if my intestines are just SO full that my body doesnt want food anymore! Our little blessing is due May4th! Hopefully he/she will come early on April 30th as a birthday gift to dad! We are both starting to think that it will be a boy but we will just have to see! I have cute back on my running...wont be running the rock for sure!

4th of July

So I flew home on July 10th to visit my family back in Amarillo. My family from KS came down too...I wish Darron could have come but he had EMT class all day saturday :( but he is almost done :). I just wanted to post pics that I took there!

Darron office

So ass some of you know I have spent a lot of time trying to get darron to move his office out of the gameroom and into one of the empty bedrooms...so when he decided to take a boys trip to vegas I decided it was time to make my move. I spent 4 days painting and working like a dog! I am not able to put up the crown molding by my self but i managed to get everything done. I am calling the internet company this week and they are going to connect the internet in that room...since we have fiberoptic internet we only had the one outlet :( once the molding is up and all of the furnature is in I will take more pictures!

So i havent posted in awhile...still doing good on the weight loss plan even though i did kinda fall of the wagon why dad and paige were here. Well dad and paige were here last weekend and we completely redid my front flower beds! They look great...we also took them for some really authentic mexican food! We ate at a place that bobby flay can to do a throwdown on tacos! It was fun to have Paige come with dad since normally she is stuck cuz of school.

Hurricane season started 6/1 which def effects work for the both of us! So we will seen how it goes! $$$

Darron is going to Vegas in July to make up for the batchelor party that he missed due to hurricane ike last year. I hope he has a good time because he deserves it! He works really hard.

He is also getting his EMT...he has been a firefighter since 2001 but never really wanted to be a medic. Since he has become an officer at the station now he has to do it but the good thing is that the dept is going to pay for it!

We also found 4 kittens! We have taken them in to try to get them used to people and adoptable. We sill see how that goes.....they let us pet them but they dont like to be held yet....but it has only been a few days.....

Crazy week...so friday morning Darron's grandfather had a heart attack which was really scary. They had his surgery this morning and he is thankfully doing great this evening. Jim also had back surgery tuesday and then again friday. So it was a stressfull week to say the least but God never gives us more than we can handle and instead of "stress eating" i did "stress running" which really paid off cuz i have now lost 5.2lbs! that is over 3 weeks so i am losing it slow and stead and the right way by eating healthy and working out more so lest home that i continue and keep it off! I am pretty motivated right now. I was kinda of slacking but when I realized I hit 5lbs I felt like I was actually getting somewhere! So hopefully it is a good start to a wonderful week!

Sooo. This weekend we went camping with some good friends at Garner state park. It was an awesome place but it was really hot on saturday. Thanks goodness the frio river was right next to our camp site to cool down in. Darron got overheated which lead to a nasty migraine so he called it a night early but it got nice and cool at night. Thank you sooo much virgie for letting us borrow your tent. We are thinking that we will go again in the fall and Darron has already picked out the tent that he wants...we will see.

Jim is supposed to have back surgery tomorrow so i will let you know how that goes. He has been in a lot of pain for quite some time now.
